Shower Bouquet 2

Hi Bloggers,
I hope you are all well.
Here is another card made for  Honey Doo Crafts, again using their latest release  Shower Bouquet.
I stamped and embossed the image with Silver Sparkle embossing powder at the top and bottom of the card. I then stamped and embossed the image again on decoupage paper and coloured with blue lagoon Mica Powder. I then cut out and shaped the flowers, which I  then placed on the card.
I used the banner from up up and away stamp set for the sentiment.

I hope you like it.

Pretty Peony

 Hi all my friendly bloggers,
Did any of you get to Ally Pally?
if so I do hope you visited the Honey Doo Stand where I am sure you would have received a ward welcome from Amanda and her team
Well after the unseasonal hot weather last week autumn has certainly arrived with damp mornings, darker nights and cooler weather so I thought I would bring you a nice card to brighten up your Day.

Here I used the Pretty Peony stamp, from Honey Doo Stamps , which I cut out and decoupaged.I have tried to capture the depth of the decoupage in the second picture, I did use several Layers.  I often stamp on to white paper or plain paper for this technique, but for this one I edged each piece with picked Raspberry Distress ink I think it worked well. I used a Sue Wilson Die, Ornate Pierced Rectangles form her Noble Range, for the frame which also gave me the shape for the card.
The background is stamped with Honey Doo Script stamp which I embossed with Silver.  I always struggle with the sentiment when using large images, but this time I resorted to shrink plastic to make a tag which finished the card beautifully.

I hope you like it
Happy crafting
Take Care
Janet

Garden Fuchsia

Hello My friends and all new bloggers,

I hope you are all enjoying the warm weather, Wow what heat in September.
Sorry my blog is late this week, I do not know where the time goes, Tuesday's come around so fast and I loose track of time.

Anyway my blog for this week is using a stamp from New Honey Doo stamps Range, Fuchsia Garden. I stamped the image several times on to acetate with stazon to allow the detail of the stems and stamen to be retained. I then stamped it several times on normal decoupage paper and painted using Honey Doo Mica's and cut the flowers and leaves out.  I used silicone glue to attach the painted images on top of the acetate and then around the complete images. I  mounted them on to a base card of blue with white frame.
I do hope you like it
Although the colours used for the flowers on this card appear different they are all the same. The difference is caused by the light falling on the Mica Paint used to colour the flowers.

Take care until next time
Janet

Hi Fellow Bloggers,

Back to normal this week with a card I made using honey Doo Stamps. The snowflake is such a versatile stamp to make backgrounds. I hope you like it.
