MISTI STAMPING

Hello my blogger Friends,
Well what a week I have had,  I spent last Saturday Demoing at Sincerely Yours Papercraft show. I had fun playing with the MISTI stamping tool and Ton stamps.
Here are the steps to stamping the Fresh Cut Roses stamps.

First you will need to cut your die cuts which you wish to stamp. Save 3 of your off cuts you will need these to help with your stamping.

Place your three stamps in place on the MISTI and stamp on to either a piece of grid paper or a spare piece of paper cut to fit the Misti

Place the off cuts over the images and secure with tape

Place your die cut into the off cut and stamp with the first layer.

Repeat for all the other layers

When you have stamped each layer, you should have you image.

Repeat as many times as you wish until you have a collection of stamped die cuts to play with.

You could also use this technique to stamp single layer die cuts as shown below with the Heartfelt Creations Frolicking Frosty.

I hope you enjoyed that little tip how to use the MISTI. All the stamps and the MISTI tool is available from Oyster Papercrafts.
Happy Crafting

Happy Christmas

Hi Bloggers,
I do hope you are all well and enjoying summer. Well christmas is around the corner so they say so here is a card I made from the honey Doo Christmas Collection.
Wow I had an idea for this card, I thought it would be simple. Think Again Janet!!
The idea started by using the Happy Christmas  stamping a frame then cutting it out. The most difficult part was to get the frame equal on all sides while fussy cutting around the flourish. Well here it is, Embossed in silver and coloured with Micas. I used the christmas Quotes for the sentiment.

I hope you like it, Take care

Botanical Bliss Box

Hi fellow bloggers, Thanks for visiting and welcome to all you new bloggers I hope you enjoy the trip!
Well the weather has warmed up again though its a little breezy and I have had a very interesting weekend demoing at the sincerely yours show at Harrogate. A great day had by all and on a personal note thanks to all who came to talk to me I hope you enjoyed the day.
Something different this week, I have been playing with Spellbinders  Botanical Bliss and Cheery Lynn Minature Roses die available from Oyster Papercrafts. This is what I came up with inspired by the picture on the front of the packet. I think it would look great with a night light inside or perhaps some chocolate (yum yum).

I have also been playing with the Minature Roses die to make various flowers.

Well they say variety is the spice of life and I thoroughly enjoyed playing with something a little  different.Take care till next week

Wild Flowers

Hi Bloggers,

Here is a card I made some time ago using Wild Flowers stamp from Honeydoo. I like the pastel colours used here and I embellished the sentiment with the larger stamp to tie in with the design.

A very simple design I hope you like it

Perfect Poinsettia

Hi Bloggers,
Where is time going, its Wednesday and I'm late blogging this week.Sorry,  I blame the weather its changing again, more like Autumn with the windy conditions. I hope it stays dry, though it does not look promising on the weather forcast.

Another simple card using the perfect poinsettia from Honey Doo.
This time I painted with their new Mica Powders, and decoupaged the poinsettia. I then used  spellbinders Fanciful Lattice to make a mat. Although this is an old Die I find its one of my go to dies when I need a simple card. I matted and layered on to red pearlescent card stock and added a sentiment.
Bye for now, take care Janet
