Falling Flowers

Hi Everyone.
Here is a card inspired by a workshop I attended with Eileen Godwin some time ago.  It is certainly something a little different for me!

A very simple card using Brushos, cobalt blue (available from Oyster Paper Crafts) which I sprinkled onto card and spritzed with water to get the background. Be careful not to spritz to much water or you will loose the effect. When it was dry I stamped the Falling Flowers Stamp from Honey Doo Crafts with Black Versafine, painted with cobalt blue brush and embossed with clear embossing powder. I added the sentiment from the new Mini Sentiments stamps again by Honey Doo Crafts, matted and layered on to Blue and black card.
I think the result was great for a very quick and simple card.

Friendship Quotes

Hi Bloggers,
Thanks for dropping in!
I hope the weather has been kind to you. We have had some flutters of snow here in Lincolnshire so I've been busy crafting.
Here is a card I have made for Honey Doo Crafts

I started by using the new Frames and Corner stamp to make the background paper. Using a 6x6 card I cut the front across the diagonal and placed the on to it. I placed the navy blue on the inside of the card. I used spellbinders die Adorning Squares (available from Oyster Stamps) to cut out the topper which was stamped with Friendship Quotes. The leaves were stamped with A bottle of Vine stamp, coloured with polychromes pencils and the flowers stamped with Flower shower coloured with pro markers.

I do hope you like it.
Take care until next time.

Frames and Corners

Hi Fellow Bloggers,
Thank you for visiting my blog.
At last it is now up and running. As you probably know we have moved from Kent to Lincolnshire over the past few weeks so things have been pretty hectic but now we are getting back to normal so I hope to get back to blogging on a regular basis.
Thank you for visiting my blog.

Anyway here are two cards I made for Honey Doo Crafts using their new stamps.

For the first  I stamped the frame (from frame and Corner stamp) on to to black card and embossed in white, I then stamped the flowers in black versa fine, cut and shaped then placed into the corners. These were matted and layered on to white card then black using perfect rulers (Available from Oyster Stamps). I stamped and cut out the Floral Obsession the shaped to make the centre flowers. I then stamped the frame in black on to the background card, placed a topper in each corner and finished off with a sentiment from Birthday Sentiments.

The second is using the same set of stamps Frames and Corners. I am having lots of fun playing with these stamps. This time I used one of the smaller line stamps to create a trellis effect. I then stamped the small flower into alternate squares and painted with Honey Doo Mica powder Pink Sapphire.  I used the large frame to make a topper and stamped the sentiment using Birthday Sentiments. I cut out several of the flowers to embellish. I used a die to cut out the leaves and embossed them with green embossing powder to strengthen them.

I hope you like both cards. Take care and Have a great week.
